Potato Mountain is a perfect sunset hike, overlooking the high peaks of the San Gabriel’s (including Mount Baldy) with views of the LA Basin on the other side.
Bridge to Nowhere is one of the most amazing hikes around. You will experience the beauty of the San Gabriel Mountains, hike a rugged trail with several stream crossings, and in the end arrive at one of the most interesting sites in SoCal.
On this hike we will check out the Bronson caves, famous from the Batman series, then hike to our ever present Hollywood sign, enjoy our lunch at the Wisdom Tree and return.
Solstice Canyon is a fun trail with great views and plenty of cool things to see. We will hike the loop up the Sostomo trail and then the Deer Valley Loop.
Explore Cave of Munits and Castle Peak, steeped in Chumash history and legend, a sacred site where solstice ceremonies were performed by the Chumash people.
We will hike to Mugu peak to enjoy the sunset and have our snacks and dinner. Incredible ocean views and east across the valley to the base of La Jolla peak
Parker Mesa is the perfect spot to enjoy a sunset overlooking the ocean and Santa Monica Bay. Even better with a full moon to light the hike back down!
Sandstone Peak is the highest point in the Santa Monica mountains with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. It’s a great place to have snack and lunch!
