What is your teaching philosophy?
- My purpose in teaching yoga is to help each practitioner find balance from the inside out. In a world that is constantly shifting and changing, creating grounding and understanding needs can be challenging. When the body, mind, and heart are balanced, aligned, and open we can recognize and begin to live our fullest potential. Then we move towards compassionate choices inward and out.
What music goes on your class soundtrack?
- A little bit of everything! I love a wide range of music, from ambient sound bath tracks to current pop and indie artists. I believe the music should fuel the breath and help to drive the tempo of the class.

- I'm 500 E-RYT. I completed my 200hrs at Yogaworks with Carolina Goldberg and Jeanne Heileman in 2014, and went on to complete my 300 hrs at Yogaworks, again with Carolina. Continuing education hours include sequencing training with Jenn Perry, Chad Dennis and Cat Acquaviva. As well as workshops in physical therapy techniques for teachers, lumbar spine alignment, and the subtle body.

Favorite Limb
- Yama

What is your teaching philosophy?
- My teaching style is accessible, fun, creative and playful. I like to focus on the breath and teach a vinyasa style flow with creativity and compassion. I want my students to discover a deeper connection with their bodies through yoga and have fun while doing it. At the end of class, I hope my students leave feeling lighter, stronger, happier and balanced (and with a smile on their shining faces).
What music goes on your class soundtrack?
- Some of my go to artists include: Maggie Rogers. Kacey Musgraves. Beyonce. Chloe x Halle. Florence + The Machine. HAIM. I like a little bit of everything. Ultimately I try to create a playful and joyful environment through the music I play in class!
Teacher training credentials
- I am a certified yoga instructor who holds a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification from Yoga Salt in Los Angeles, under the guidance of veteran yoga instructor Tamal Dodge. This training provided me with the knowledge and understanding of how to teach yoga to every body (from beginners to advanced students) and helped me discover my voice as a teacher. After completing the program in the Fall 2018, I began teaching all level classes twice a week at LA Fitness, giving me the opportunity to help my students deepen their practice and raise their awareness of their bodies and breath. I recently completed Red Diamond Yoga’s Yin Yoga Teacher Training led by Laura King, a 30-hour certified yoga course featuring the cooling side of yoga.

What is your teaching philosophy?
- Yoga is for anybody. At any time of their life. It might take you a few times on the mat to get comfortable with how your body feels, and how to breathe through the class, but recognize this journey is familiar to everyone, and it gets easier each time you practice. It's also important to recognize your journey on the mat is going to be different from the person next to you. It is a joy being in a class with likeminded people who want to better themselves, but every day we arrive in varying moods and with different struggles. Respecting the individual journey of others will strengthen your personal journey on and off the mat. Leave your ego at the door. I promise, you'll like yourself better for it.
What music goes on your class soundtrack?
- Eclectic Sounds. I love all types of music. You'll likely find yourself humming along to some familiar hits, as well as asking me where to find some of the new artists I've shared.
