Card image
What is your teaching philosophy?
My purpose in teaching yoga is to help each practitioner find balance from the inside out. In a world that is constantly shifting and changing, creating grounding and understanding needs can be challenging. When the body, mind, and heart are balanced, aligned, and open we can recognize and begin to live our fullest potential. Then we move towards compassionate choices inward and out.
What music goes on your class soundtrack?
A little bit of everything! I love a wide range of music, from ambient sound bath tracks to current pop and indie artists. I believe the music should fuel the breath and help to drive the tempo of the class.

Moving from the head to the heart: Surrender. I encourage my students to embrace their own paradoxes, complexities and incompetencies—to develop trust in the unknown. Here is where you will tap into the quiet wisdom of the creative unconscious. Yoga will be your guide along this journey.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Yoga is for anybody. At any time of their life. It might take you a few times on the mat to get comfortable with how your body feels, and how to breathe through the class, but recognize this journey is familiar to everyone, and it gets easier each time you practice. It's also important to recognize your journey on the mat is going to be different from the person next to you. It is a joy being in a class with likeminded people who want to better themselves, but every day we arrive in varying moods and with different struggles. Respecting the individual journey of others will strengthen your personal journey on and off the mat. Leave your ego at the door. I promise, you'll like yourself better for it.

What is your teaching philosophy?
The body is a house - it's YOUR house! Let's go into every room, open every drawer! Air it out, move it around and create a livable temple for your spirit. The rooms we never go into ac-cumulate the most dust and debris. The rooms we're al-ways in get messy quickly. Yoga practice is an oppor-tunity to harmonize our flesh-and-blood homes so that are comfortable, happy and feel most welcome.
What music goes on your class soundtrack?
